China Helicopter Reasearch and Development Institute("CHRDI") was founded in 1969. It is a member of AVIC and the only helicopter institute in China.
CHRDI covers an area of 3000 acres and has over 40 majors, more than 3000 employees.So far, CHRDI has successfully developed 12 series of more than 60 types of military and civilian helicopters and unmanned helicopters, including Z-8, Z-9, Z-10, Z-19, Z-20, AC311, AC313, AR-500, etc.
CHRDI has achieved fruitful technological innovations, leading China's helicopter technology to the world's advanced level, and making due contributions to the construction of national defense and national economy.
