CPCIRI has its initial name Paint and coating Industry Research Institute. Ministry of Chemical Industry, which was founded in 1969 in Lanzhou. Now CPCIRI is a subsidiary of CNOOC. Since it was born,CPCIRI estabilished National Engineering Center for coatings and offshore industry protective engineering research center as the key research centers.CPCIRI has obtained more than 120 national level patents,and honored with more than 80 awards at national and/or provincial level in terms of innovation，creativity and improvement,etc. The main products include heavy-duty anticorrosive coating, special coatings, antomotive coatings,coil coatings,architectural coatings and special resin.CPCIRI can provide an integral management service and systematic solutions to many sectors including corrosion control design for offshore industry, research on corrosion protection, corrosion monitoring and testing, coating application and evaluation, anticorrosion engineering and enviromental engineering,etc.
