Zhuhai Institute of Advanced Technology Chinese Academy of Sciences(ZIAT), which is a significant project in the 13th Five-Year comprehensive strategic cooperation agreement signed by the People's Government of Guangdong Province and the CAS, is established by the Shenzhen Institutes of Advanced Technology Chinese Academy of Sciences(SIAT) and the Zhuhai government.
The role of the ZIAT is to solve the needs of the development of the high technology industries in the Greater Bay Area, including Biotechnology, Big Data, Cloud Computing and Micro-electronic Materials. ZIAT obtains the policies support by Zhuhai government and the talent support by SIAT. The function of the ZIAT is to build up the joint laboratories with enterprise, the public technique platform, the scientific achievements transformation centers and the business incubators. Through the intergation of the capital, the technologies and the talents, the ZIAT will be the best innovative enterpreneurial platform served Zhuhai and influenced the overall the Greater Bay Area, even the Greater China region.
We have established an intergrated system for scientific research, applying for scientific research projects at national and provincial level. We are also conducting industry-university-research cooperation with enterprises and establishing optimal experimental platforms. Given the current research layout, we are creating a batch of strategic emerging industries through technology transfer.
Through government guidance, we are developing industrial investment funds combined with capital to serve regional enterprises.
