Ocean is strategically crucial for quality development. In October, 2019, the 2019 China Marine Economy Expo (CMEE), hosted by the Ministry of Natural Resources of PRC and People' s Government of Guangdong Province, and organized by the Shenzhen Municipal People' s Government, was successfully concluded. On the occasion of the Opening Ceremony, President Xi, also General Secretary of CPC Central Committee and Chairman of the Central Military Commission, expressed his congratulation on the successful opening of the event, and emphasized the 2019 edition was aimed to establish an open platform for cooperation, sharing and mutual benefits among coastal countries around the globe.

In order to promote further development and cooperation in marine economy, the 2020 China Marine Economy Expo is to be convened between October 15 and 18, 2020 at the Shenzhen Convention and Exhibition Center (in Futian District). The 2020 edition will focus on shipbuilding and port shipping marine resources development, high-end offshore equipment, marine electronic information, marine biological medicine and marine conservation and safety, during which cutting-edge marine technologies and equipment from home and abroad will be exhibited, and forums as well as other acivities will be held concurrently.

The 2020 CMEE will be delivered with bigger area of exhibition, richer variety of exhibits and more effective concurrent events. You are candidly invited to atend the CMEE held in Shenzhen and share with us achievements of marine economy.
